Mountain biking at Lake Garda

The mild climate of Lake Garda is famous for giving its guests unforgettable days of fine weather and due to the many routes that characterizes the hinterland of Lake Garda, mountain biking is a sport that has had more success.

The most important places for bikers are the mountains that surround the lake. Particularly worthy of mention are the Garda Trentino, Riva del Garda, Arco and Torbole, Mount Brione, climbing to Lake Ledro and for those who still want to try breathless excitement, Mount Tremalzo with breathtaking run along the old military road towards Limone. These locations host famous competitions like the "Bike X Treme" and "Bike Marathon".

With the cableway service from Malcesine to Monte Baldo you can bring your mountain bike in altitude with a lot of different opportunities. At the bottom of the lake you may try the Mount of Pizzocolo and the mountains of Mount Spino between Maderno and Gardone Riviera; north of Gargnano Mount Denervo and he valley of Valvestino with Cima Rest, where you can admire the old barns restored by the Parco Alto Garda Bresciano.
