LAKE GARDA, WHAT TO VISIT?
Those who prefer a more quiet and relaxing stay, you can choose to walk through the nearby villages with colorful markets, both day and evening, and follow wine and food events that the Lake Garda offers throughout the year, thanks to its climate that allows the production of olive oil and wines.
From La Caletta Hotel Bolognese, to north you will find the famous walk on the Promenade - the longest of the Lake - 10 km to Malcesine - through the beautiful port of Castelletto - from the Hotel to the south, a few tens of meters of the famous church San Zeno formerly dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
You can also visit Sirmione, with its Spa Catullo, 2000 years old, Peschiera del Garda with its impregnable fortress, Bardolino, Garda, San Vigilio where, with his most prominent point on the water after the peninsula of Sirmione, dominates almost all of Lake Garda and attracted by the charm of the place where many famous people have stayed: Tsar Alexander II of Russia, Winston Churchill, Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh and, in recent years, we remember the Prince Charles, King Juan Carlos of Spain and the German President Richard Von Weizsacker, then Torri del Benaco, Brenzone, Torbole, Riva del Garda, Limone, and a hundred other small villages, fascinating ancient and charming.
For the evening, Lake Garda offers jazz concerts and theater seasons in the nearby Arena.
